In this section we will provide articles about how to safely lose weight in a healthy way.  Just about everyone has had some experience with various diets and weight loss programs.  Some work better than others, and many have at least some merit.  The plan you choose to lose weight depends the most on YOU!  What will work for you is different than what would work for me or for your next door neighbor.  

The more educated you become about why certain plans work, the better able you will be to choose or create a plan that has the best chance of success.  It is also important to be as objective as possible about yourself.  You need to truly think about what kind of person you are in order to formulate the best possible plan for yourself.  Are you a disciplined person or are you more on the lazy side?  Do you have a large family or small children?  Do you have a particular stressful job that takes a great deal of time?  All these factors will come into play when you are putting together a weight loss plan.
